On February 15, 2019, Stephen Ha, Managing Director of TECNO Mobile - TRANSSION Holdings, met with City Football Group’s CEO Ferran Soriano, Vice President and Director of Partnerships APAC Stephen Cieplik, and Greater China Business Director David Tang during a friendly strategic meeting held in TRANSSION Holdings' new office building in Pudong New Area, Shanghai.

Three years of success
In November 2016, Stephen Ha flew to Manchester to sign a three-year strategic partnership agreement with Manchester City F.C., making TECNO the official partner of the club for mobile phones and tablets. After three years, this partnership has proven a success, significantly boosting the brand recognition and reputation of TECNO Mobile under TRANSSION Holdings. TECNO has seen particularly exciting results in sales and brand influence.
Meanwhile, Manchester City F.C. has enjoyed unprecedented success on the field, racking up a growing number of achievements: in the 2017-18 season, under the leadership of Pep Guardiola, the club won the English Premier League with five games to spare to secure their fifth Premier League title. A number of new records have been set, both by the team and individual players.
